The IgKnighters are a well-established and successful First Robotics Competition (FRC) team with more than a decade of experience.  We meet year round with competitions in March, April, June and October.  During the Summer we learn new skills and experiment with new designs and manufacturing techniques.

FRC Team 3173 is comprised of students from McQuaid Jesuit, other local area high schools that don’t sponsor FRC teams as well as homeschooled students from the surrounding area.  No other FRC team in the Rochester area supports such a diverse team with members from a variety of schools and learning environments.

McQuaid Jesuit First Lego League Regional Qualifier

McQuaid Jesuit invited local First Lego teams to compete in their FIRST Lego League Regional Qualifier on December 14th. Rachacha Ruckus

Rachacha Ruckus is an offseason event based on Halloween and having fun. Its meant for team who want to have a relaxed yet fun and competitive event offseason. Its a great event not just for players though but for spectators aslo.

NCRC

An offseason event held by team 5740, The Trojanators. Its an event inspired by a popular rockstar band AC/DC. Held in Cranberry Twp, Pensylvania.

Rookie Bot

Mcquaid kids also built another robot similuating the game from 2018, Power Up. This robot was built to help rookies on the team to understand and learn how the Mcquaid IgKnighters build and plan their robot.
